A.N.I. Frame

The anatomically correct design of the Youth Germ Knee Brace features a light but highly durable glass fill Nylon 6 Injected composite. This keeps the frame rigid yet lightweight, with a structure that distributes impact evenly for increased stability and safety.

Symmetrical Glide Hinge

The Youth Germ's symmetrical glidge hinge tracks the "natural rolling-gliding" motion of the knee joint. This symmetrical design allows for an accurate track hole pattern. The regulator extension is adjustable from 0° to 40°, for fine-tuning the fit.

D.A.U. Cuff

The Youth Germ's dual adjustment accommodates leg growth, letting you use the brace despite changing height, while maintaining uniform rigid lateral support.

Anti-Rotation Tether

An anti-rotation tether links the brace to the boot, making them as one unit. This transfers forces of a lower leg rotation to protect the leg and prevent torquing damage. The tether is adjustable to suit each individual.

Telescoping Patella Cup

A telescoping, three piece design for the patella cup allows for full range-of-motion coverage of the knee cap. Constructed of high-impact Nylon 6 material with thermo-formed EV50 shock absorbent foam padding, the patella cup is easily removable for adjustment and cleaning.

Dual Stage Padding

The Youth Germ features a Neoprene-lined frame for greater comfort. The lining comes in two thicknesses to accommodate leg growth, with two sizes of joint pads for individual adjustment.

Water Resistant

Made of non-corrosive metals, non-corrosive composites, and hand-washable soft materials, the Youth Germ Knee Brace is water resistant, making it ideal for comfort and stability even in inclement weather.

Undersleeves Included

The included matching undersleeves offer a conically tapered cut to match the legs' natural contour, with ventilated mesh that promotes air flow. It reduces heat build up by wicking moisture away from skin. These undersleeves feature a flat-stitched quad seam for a smooth, durable finish, plus a durable fold-over elastic band.
